Some good advice came to me through a YouTube video. The advice can be boiled down to the following. Start working on your marketing materials in the first month. This saw a similar video that stated that it’s a good idea to start working on the visuals first as this will help you to promote your game.
So during this week I started to design a poster and the opening scene. Aside from that I also planned out the trailer and made a list of all scenes that need to be present in there. On the Wednesday, Game Dev Day, I worked on the prototype. I was surprised at the speed with which I could integrate some of my ideas. The Unity course has definitely provided me with a base level of C# knowledge and of course familiarity with the Unity engine.
