
Background layers, parallax backgrounds, background effects and most importantly background assets. Week 5 was almost entirely used to figure out how to get assets into Unity and how I will be making them. I decided to stick with the workflow that I know best. So the assets will be made in Illustrator. Vectors give me more flexibility to change things in the future and it is the program I am most comfortable with. The sketches will still be made in Procreate.
Aside from making test setups in Unity I worked on the characters and created some marketing materials for the game. I have a good idea of the look and feel I will be aiming for. In the following week I will make a screenshot. Doesn’t sound like a lot of work right? But I want to create an image that captures the final look and feel of my game. This screenshot will be the reference for what I will be trying to reproduce in Unity.
