Week 6 was quite frustrating to be honest. I had less time to work on the game and I didn’t make a lot of progress. The main culprit was the style reference that I’m making. The goal is to make a screenshot depicting the finished look of the game. I spend a lot of hours in ProCreate and Illustrator trying to get the look right. But for now it’s not working just yet. Working on the parallax background was also a bit slow. Mainly due to me “running” back and forth between ProCreate and Illustrator. On the upside; I did manage to make a nice image for the Cormorant. She might play an important role in the opening moments of the game. The upcoming week should be a bit better as I will have more time and am slowly settling upon the right workflow.
